polygrafi is a variation of the word polygraphy, or “the writing of many works, ” a title befitting a blog on technology and writing. This site offers resources on writing assignments for a variety of courses beyond the traditional “academic paper” and functions as a site to house digital writing by students in classes taught by Crystal S. Anderson (PhD), Director, Office of Student Research and Associate Professor of English, Longwood University. It also represents an opportunity for me to talk about my goals and strategies in using technology as part of my pedagogical practice.
While courses range by subject, writing is a common experience to many college classes. This blog features assignments for courses range from first-year writing to upper-level interdisciplinary seminars. Many are digital assignments that take advantage of the interactive nature of public writing, allowing students to receive moderated feedback from the public.
